Foreign Buyers of U.S. Real Estate: What You Need to Know Before Buying U.S. Real Estate

Program Description:

Devaluation of the U.S. dollar has created real estate investment opportunities for foreign nationals, specifically in New York City. However, understanding U.S. tax laws before purchasing real estate may lead to significant savings for your foreign clients down the road. This program is especially designed for commercial and residential real estate brokers working with foreign clients. It will provide you with essential information to help you and your clients avoid unnecessary liability from U.S. and New York State income and estate taxes when purchasing or selling U.S. real estate, thus enabling them to make the most of their investment.
