Moses & Singer summer associate Osato F. Chitou was recently profiled by Rutgers School of Law-Newark in an article entitled "Spotlight On: Osato Chitou ’10 – Ready for the Next Step on Her Journey". Osato will begin working for the firm in 2010 after graduating from law school.
In the article, Osato describes her background and how it led her to law school. The article also details Osato's journeys and her many contributions and accomplishments including tutoring low-income students in Connecticut; working with AmeriCorps to do HIV/AIDS testing in North Carolina; and interviewing female victims of violence in a Liberian Refugee Camp in Ghana. At Rutgers' 2009 Alumni Association Recognition Dinner, Osato was awarded a new Alumni Association Scholarship in recognition of her many achievements and commitment to human rights and social justice.
