Moses & Singer rolled out the red carpet on November 18, 2009 as the firm hosted a cocktail reception for alumni of the top boarding schools in India. A festive time was had by nearly 100 guests in attendance including special guests Prabhu Dayal, Consul General of India in New York, and Anurag Kashyap, noted Indian filmmaker/director who has directed such acclaimed Indian films as Black Friday, Dev D, and Gulaal.
Firm Chairman Alan Kolod welcomed the crème of the Indian community and conveyed his hope that the event would strengthen relationships between them and the firm. Moses & Singer attorneys made the most of the event by mingling with guests who included professionals in industries ranging from general business, finance, entertainment, and IT.
A number of media were also present at the event with coverage provided by ITV, Desi Talk, TV Asia and India Abroad.
