Arlene G. Dubin has practiced in the area of matrimonial and family law for more than 25 years. Nationally recognized in the area of marital agreements, she has extensive experience in the negotiation and drafting of prenuptial, postnuptial, cohabitation, parenting, separation and stipulation of settlement agreements. Ms. Dubin is co-chair of the firm’s Matrimonial and Family Law practice.
Ms. Dubin is author of Prenups for Lovers: A Romantic Guide to Prenuptial Agreements, published by Villard Books, a division of Random House Inc., a primer on marital agreements. She has appeared on many television and radio shows, including the Today Show, The Early Show, Good Morning America, Entertainment Tonight, CNBC’s Power Lunch and Business Center, and National Public Radio. She has been quoted in numerous national publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Associated Press, Time, Newsweek, Business Week, Worth, Vanity Fair, Town & Country, Money and USA Today as well as on-line at street.com, courttv.com, msnbc.com and forbes.com. A frequent writer and lecturer on the topic of marital agreements, she is a faculty member of Lawline.com, an on-line provider of continuing legal education. Her website is www.prenupsforlovers.com.
Ms. Dubin’s practice encompasses all aspects of matrimonial and family law, including financial and tax issues, equitable distribution, spousal and child support, child custody and access, estate planning and issues relating to unmarried couples.
Ms. Dubin is trained in mediation and collaborative law and is a member of the New York Association of Collaborative Professionals and International Association of Collaborative Professionals, which seek to resolve matrimonial matters without litigation.
