Alan E. Gamza has been a partner at Moses & Singer since 1993. He has practiced in the area of creditors' rights and bankruptcy since 1984 and has represented many well-known corporate clients in bankruptcy cases. Alan is also the chair of the firm’s Business Reorganization, Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights Group.
Alan has particular expertise in the interplay between intellectual property and bankruptcy law. He has represented numerous well known actors and actresses and has worked on several bankruptcy cases involving entertainment companies. He regularly represents licensors and licensees of intellectual property in bankruptcy cases. Alan also has expertise in issues relating to international insolvencies and pre-bankruptcy planning for creditors relating to open accounts receivable. Among other clients, Alan has represented debtors, creditors' committees acquirors, lendors or significant creditors in the cases in the following industries: cogeneration energy production, alternative energy development, commercial real estate ownership and management, manufacturing, construction, commodity finance, retail, mortgage lending, computer leasing, waste disposal and hauling, and real estate development.
